Nothing wrong with cars being advertised for proper money on here.  But you'll need more than just one "golden hour" photo taken from 20 feet away if  you want to relieve someone of £2250.  Looks like it's mechanically well sorted, but not without its niggles.

You didn't ask my opinion on price, so I won't be rude and offer it.  But if you can get £2250 for a saloon with cloth, trims and no service history - you're hired to sell my next heap.

You won't find anyone who loves Mercs of this vintage more than me - it looks like it has masses of potential.  NB: You could get a new boot lock from Mercedes for £NotMuch so that you're back on the one key.  Stuff like that matters to bearded men who buy Mercedes (In my experience)

GLWS.

GLWTS....Not looking myself but if I was on one of my periodic searches for an old Merc of the correct era then this would be on my radar for sure.   Unfortunately I only buy them about 2.5 times per decade so not currently looking!

Nothing I see in your post would take it off my list.

Don't think it's that out of the way for around the £2,000 mark, you could get one for a grand but it wouldn't be as low miles or in the condition this one looks in, it'd cost as much again to get it looking as clean as that.

It'll look cheap when people jump on the bandwagon and EBay prices start heading for the stratosphere.
