VWPowered
no pics yet, but had 2 cars stuck here for months and the blokes interested in a swap, i'll willing to take a hit long as the pair both go (1993 mk3 golf and 1997 ford mondeo mk1)its a 78 model so not sure if its chrome or plastic bumpers, not that i mind as long as it isnt a later fugly one that later became the SEAT..good car or bad car, my dad had a white 3dr years ago but cant really remember it that well, i know they had a terminal rust problem but generally they last a little better here...your thoughts.... Volksy
I love 127's. My mum had a 81 chocolate brown 'Super'. Sadly my old man wrote it off by putting it backward through a bridge wall. I had the later 1050 Super 5 Speed, great little car. They are kind of the original supermini, good fun to drive (especially the 1300 GT) and pretty practical. They do rust like buggery. A 1978 one will be like this: They were a really modern car for 1978 to be honest, they dont look that dated today considering the design is 31 years old. r.welfare
My aunt had a red 1050CL for years, on a T-plate it was; her first Fiat (replaced by a white Panda 1000 with double sunroof, a Bianca I think, then the Mk1 Punto 55S she still has). Seemed like a GR8 little car at the time but then she did drive it like a nutter. Bonus points if it still has the decal on the windscreen showing the gearshift pattern! Split_Pin
I like it!I have fond memories of my works old Fiorino Van E817PMS, which seemed to skip the final facelift of the 127 series.I still have a mint grille from it if yours ever got broken.
