Split_Pin
I'm currently finding out if I can use the engine and loom with my 1.0 gearbox. I shall report back. Cavcraft
Split_Pin
Nae response from the Corsa pages regarding a sensible technical question. Does anyone else know the answer here?
bub2006
1.0 I'm pretty sure is a f13 box. Same as a 1.4 manual.
320touring
Iain, if as bub says, the gearbox is the same, the loom shouldn't be much problem. Likely its only the ecu/clocks and engine bay side loom that is different. They'll likely connect into the main car loom under the dash. Should be able to either unplug and swap, or splice it in as needed.

bub2006
From what I recall the 1.6 had either f13 or f15, bigger had f18 and anything with cr in code was a close ratio.

sierraman
Nae response from the Corsa pages regarding a sensible technical question. Does anyone else know the answer here? You often find there's quite a few differences between the engine fitted to Autos and Manual. The radiator often incorporates an ATF cooler, the flywheel might be different etc. On the other hand it will have had an easier life.
Split_Pin
That's ok I have everything else to make it a manual in my existing car.
lisbon_road
Probably crankshaft different for flywheel fitment too? Remember also that the auto Corsas got the single point injection engine, unlike auto Astras which were multipoint or twin cam. The SPi engine is adequate in a Corsa mind. pandamonium
Price reduced before I throw it to the eBay wolves. It needs a thermostat and temp sensor, less than 30 quid all in. I'll entertain swaps or trades. ..
