bub2006
Is the c2 actually type approved for towing?Yes it is. Admittedly it can't tow a great deal but it can legally tow what I need it to. Also the towbar is a proper c2 towbar made by witter and not a homemade job. It also has pre made threaded holes in rear legs under boot floor so was also easy to fit. UltraWomble
On the (very unlikely) chance you come across one for an N16 almera I'll have it - those caravan rear panels will sell easily enough to a caravan body shop - somewhere like Campbell's et al.In fact a lot of the caravan specific stuff should sell to a body shop pretty easily really (as its expensive stuff) - may be worth having a look in the yellow pages and then phoning a couple to see if they want to give you a price & shift it all for you. Im tempted to buy one of the LR 90 tow bars, just because. How much and how much shipping? Barry Cade

HillmanImp
One part of my mind is telling me that I should get the Visa towbar as I have a Visa but another is pointing out that I will never tow anything with it. However, the slightly cleverer part of my head is not up for petty bickering and is suggesting as I write this, that I could put my bikes on one of those clever tow bar carriers. How much are these fine accessories? Barry Cade
bub2006
Towbar mounted bike racks are great. I've a fold up one that was bought last year. Only cost 20 quid new. Barry Cade
DodgeRover
How much of a masochist do you have to be to tow with a MK1 Fiesta, or a Serena?I had a towbar on my 1300 super sport fiesta, 3 adults and kit with 3 trials bikes on the trailer used to work out to average 18mpg. The clutch cried enough when trying to shift a broken down Fergy tractor though.
