The traffic was a nightmare but I got there in the end. Lots of expensive shiney stuff but nothing really interesting. I only took about 3 photo's the 203 Peugeot estate was nice but that was about it. Lots of very rich people trying to out do each other really.

The little pug clocked up 400km today without missing a beat.

You'd better have a close up of that sandglow Princess HLS.

That Honda CBX straight six is pure sex.

Never fear Skiz, I got one. Right at the bottom of my thread if you can make it past the Gamma coupe :)

Looks like Hairnet papped some stuff I missed. The club area on the airfield was looking a bit bare by the time I got there after lunch. Wish that 504 pickup had hung around.

So 'Drive It Day' is in reality a day everyone is stationary on some meadow - all day long.

Well, why did I expect anything different in a country where "going out with" in reality means staying home and having a shag?

I'm proud to say that the GGG has a long tradition of taking this more seriously.

This year we were hooning around all day in Mr Conelrad's delightful Rover, racking up little change left out of 400 miles in the process.

And with all day, I mean from 10am to well after 10pm.

Not being the opinionated type, I still think that this is how it should be done.

What you see in the background is the Irish Sea.

Aye, came out well that did, considering it was a camera I rescued out of work's bin. I brought it back to life with a new battery and a software reflash; for that shot in Amlwch Port Harbour I used a 1977 Industar 50mm M42 pancake lens I bought from a Brussels market for 3 Euros. It's soft as a farting cloud if you blow it up.

My D60 exploded at Techno Classica Essen by jamming its shutter; work won't pay for a replacement.

Oh.
