For Sale Mondeo Diesel Amnesty

As you've probably read in other posts I've bought a Mk2 Mondeo so I've come to sell the Mk3 estate I have.

 

It's a 2.0 TDCI estate 54 plate.

 

The Good

 

- Body and interior are quite tidy with the exception of a small scrape on the bumper

 

-Has a valid MOT until June

 

-Very economical does an easy 45-50mpg

 

-Fairly quick, I'm not certain but I'm told it had been remapped. Certainly feels a lot quicker than 130bhp

 

-I 'think' it also has had an SMF fitted at some point, there's no DMF noise and the clutch feels fine.

 

-has towbar with twin electric

 

-has tinted rear windows - factory

 

-climate control that works!

 

-doesn't chuck out much smoke

 

-starts easy

 

Bad

- As you've probably read I've had a bit of trouble with the fucking Coil Light flashing from time to time, it might go 3 weeks without doing it, I've changed the filter, put some additive in, changed the cam sensor on it, cleaned out the EGR and the MAF. I don't know whether this has solved it, I cleaned the MAF out at the weekend and it was dirty and it hasn't done it again but I can't offer guarantees about it it's a case of suck it and see.

 

-not the smoothest idle, but far from the worst I've seen, I think this could be due to the aux belt tensioner, this makes a bit of a racket but they go on forever like this.
