quicksilver
Just got home after an unscheduled stop to fix a Sunbeam Tiger with a dodgy fuel pump Many photos to sort now and yes I did spot the bASe looking rather out of place. This was my favourite:Â And here's said Tiger before it disgraced itself. Fixed now and hopefully well on its way home. alf892, Dick Longbridge, strangeangel and 1 other
Dick Longbridge
Stanza looks purdy. Wtaf is a new MX5 doing there though?
Six-cylinder
I was there in comfort, in my BMW 735i. BorniteIdentity
quicksilver
Stanza looks purdy. Wtaf is a new MX5 doing there though? There was a lot of modern stuff that wasn't in any way classic and didn't deserve to be there. Even a 64-reg Vauxhall Insignia in the show field for some reason! Also, a ten-year old Goona still in working order is now officially a classic - see photographic evidence below alf892 and Dick Longbridge
Jifflemon
I was in the carpark with the daily, but walked about on foot.. Lots of nice stuff! T5 mid-engined mini  Going back tomorrow, cos it'll probably be stuck there with handbrake or electrical problem  Pretty stuff that caught my eye....          Dick Longbridge, Sigmund Fraud, CGSB and 2 others
Dick Longbridge
^ Goonas are the equivalent of Renault 20's in the late 1980's. They're all falling apart, they're being broken at a rate of knots and in around 25 years time, a tiny group of people on the internet will track down the few remaining cars and try, with limited success, to make them work reliably. Edit: Great photos above. Mk1 MR2 looks lovely as well. Has a tall cat peed on the base's passenger door lock? alf892

Washing it is also illegal, so it's a catch 22. My favourite car of the night? BorniteIdentity
Few more. Shame the corolla's been ruined by some twunt with a haircut, because otherwise it's lovely. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Dick Longbridge, CGSB and Skizzer

alf892
It is a nice meet up this one......nice mix of cars and you don't have to look at the ones you don't like. I saw the quicksilver Maxi too....looks even better in the metal. Had a chat to the proud custodian of the base..........and I noticed it got papped a few times too. I saw Mr Six in the distance but he vanished.....tried to guess which car he would have but his fleet is too big for my memory so I didn't have a clue. quicksilver
A few more highlights Sherply Sherpless SVM Funeral Services Local reg Acclaim This looked like a full-on roadgoing BTCC car Late BX Don't normally like Beetles but this was sweet Straight out of Max Power circa 1998 German build quality at its finest. Check out that hole in the wing One of these would fit in the back of the other Magnum opus I know it isn't but I'm going to call this a Lincoln Continental just to annoy Herr Junkman Just like a mini Thunderbird Where did these all disappear to?Scened VWs were in abundance but here's some natural rat look Nice unmolested early Ashtray This was in the car park for some reason but was far more deserving of the show field than many of the things that were there Dick Longbridge, Skizzer, Aston Martin and 4 others

Jifflemon
I'm currently sat in Heathrow, flying out to Italy, returning tomorrow so rather annoyingly will miss this. Was going to take the 480 too.
alf892
There is a 'breakfast' version of this on Sunday 21st May............about 9 until 1 I think. Facebook flyer mentions bacon butties, coffee and live music. I've promised to tidy the garden up..........and this isn't far away from the tip I use so might pop in with the truck! alf892
This was on again last night...........not exactly a balmy summer evening but I went anyway. Spoke to this fella.............he had driven this old crate over 30 miles to get there.........brave eh? Six-cylinder

Jifflemon
Having to miss it again - I've got to look at the brakes on my friends Sebring convertible. Kwik fit have been there, so I'm expecting everything to be seized, rounded or both.
alf892
This is on again next Wednesday............always a good turn out........and if the weather is good it gets packed. Because next Weds is August it will of course be a hot summers evening............ so see you there

alf892
This Wednesday is the last meet of the year...........seems like a bloody quick spring/summer though. I'm going if the weather is reasonable (reasonable=not snowing) solid61 and Six-cylinder
Six-cylinder
I am going too, not sure which car yet. My BMW E30 is also likely to be there as a friend has asked to borrow it for the event. alf892
