Last week I went somewhere warm. No not hell.....yet. Me and Mrs Sutty flew to Tenerife South on our holibobs courtosy of my parents (serial time share holders with extra room for two). I knew there would be some unrotten chod knocking around as ive been here twice before so I was armed with my phone camera where ever I went.

First and best spot of the Holiday was this Opel Rekord..... spotted moments away from our hotel on day 1. I'd spotted it from the taxi and subsequently spent the next 2 days scouring the local area for it.

We're just back from La Palma, I'm far too self conscious for much chod photoing, there were loads of lovely old Seat Marbella's and a few Seat 127's that looked pretty cherished. It's a relatively poor island for the Canaries and anything newer than about 6 years old was almost certainly a hire car.

I did snap a Ferrari however.

I think it was, it was near an excellent water park, I'm a big kid and gravity is ace.

That'll be Siam Park then.

They love mercs over there. 95% of taxis are Mercs. The old E class we got from the airport to the hotel had done in excess of 747000KMs!!

When I visited Los Christianos in 2012 I was slightly disappointed with the chod spottage. I was hopeful of seeing some old French and Spanish cars but the best I saw was a MK2 Cavalier. I did photograph a MK1 Renault 5 but it had been restored and was 'cherished' - not the condition I was hoping for!
