I hope this finally sells for you Dave. No reason why not, but science, has it been advertised a long time!

Safe now. Everything's lead lined.

I'm very pleased. My wife is bemused. My mate Matt doesn't believe we've won this (I bought a ticket to share with him).

I'm in Newcastle with work all next week which might help.....

Well done that man. I was rather hoping for a win for myself as we were stuck at the pub with the Saab floppytop that failed to even start let alone proceed. Went back in and had a meal whilst waiting for the recovery truck. The man obviously has magic fingers as the car started first time for him.

Good score!

As for shipping it, has anyone asked handy trade-plater Lord Sterling if he's available?

Quick update on this. It's gonna cost me around £300 to bring it home.
£50 flight to Stanstead
£? Travel to Essex
£50 fuel to Liverpool
£150 ferry to Belfast.

On top of that I'll need to pay parking at Belfast airport, and leave my kids with my mum for a couple of nights.

Weekend is only option as my wife works away all week and I'm pretty much single dad.

I'm gutted as I really want to bring it home.

One option would be to lend it to another shiter for a while till later in the year when the wife is home for a while.

The last thing I want to do is mess Dave around anymore, as technically he has someone else's car languishing outside his house!

Shame we just missed Saturday, as this could have been reroffled?

Those collection costs are quite epic.
