Captain Furious Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Up until a couple of years ago, I was regularly balls deep in my £1000 overdraft limit, never really bothered me until the bank started issuing charges even for agreed overdrafts, I strongly objected to being charged a £10 fee for using a facility they'd agreed upfront and got rid of it...it was tough going. Now I have the limit reduced to £100 and avoid using it like the plague Credit card is a different story mind, I've been battling that since time immemorial, but, if things go according to plan I may finally be free of it next month, I think I'm down to about 200 quid on it now from £2500ish 12 months ago. Captain Furious Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 The credit card did stress me out for a while, until an old work colleague told me of learning his wife was £25k in credit card debt on nothing but 'stuff' and he'd had to take out a 25k loan over 30 years to clear it Then I thought actually, my financials are in pretty good shape here..
