beko1987
Aviva have system issues and they can't get into our policy, so it's either uninsured or 3rd party off her sister's policy still. I haz had confirmation about indemnification or summat on our file as I've called up and the issue isn't my fault, their going to call back when the issue is fixed. Never mind, there's fuck all pez in it anyway and we r skint/the meriva has half a tank so it can sit for a few days
beko1987
Here we go! Front bumper has been repaired. It's been like this the 5 years I've known the car Front passenger wheels different, their all heavily kerbed too. Tyres are all fine though. I got distracted with the computer stuff Which is going to make replacing the broken standard headunit with amys jvc fun, as J think the display runs through the radio. Some googling is needed here I then turned to the rest of the interior, which wasn't as bad as I remember actually Contents of the glove box And the melted glove box light I removed a year or two ago That's amys mums dog that is And these are the rear belt buckles... They do work though. Mot opinion? Ah, there's the front alloy Compressor! Cobwebs Engine bay looks gr - 54 for working in Oil looks clean though And is nicely rust proofing the block via the rocker gasket Not bad for £250 though, although no money has changed hands yet purplebargeken, Lord Sterling, Anthony30 and 7 others

Rusty_Rocket
That's a bargain! Nothing too scary on these IMO. Also, with the world-famous BEKO cleaning skills, I reckon that will look perfectly smart when you're finished with it! That is a fucking bargain despite the grim -Cavcraft has some competition!!Fucks with the steering, throttle, dampers and auto box on the auto ones according to the manual. Which means probably no noticeable different apart from to my wallet if it ever needs new dampers... Wondering wether to get the alloy repaired and refitted or just to not bother. Need recommendations for super strong black duct tape too so I can re repair the front bumper
oldcars
I quite* like that. A few hours with a wet vac would make that look nice inside. Lord Sterling

Need recommendations for super strong black duct tape too so I can re repair the front bumperAlloy repair can be quite reasonable, I got my summer wheels for the Subaru cheap because one was bent, similar to yours but not as bad. Anyway I got various quotes for fixing it, many places wanted £100+ but I actually got it done for £35 at a place on a small industrial estate in Bradford. He seemed to be doing a roaring trade patching up the rimz on all the badly driven range rovers etc that they like round there. Based on that logic I'd say see if there's anywhere in High Wycombe. Kiltox
£250 is well under its true value to be fair - if it runs fine it would be worth £1500 with a good clean as long as it hasn't done a shit load of miles
AlabamaShrimp
Still sounds cheap at £1500 when you've just paid out nearly £400 for a bumper. Anyway didn't know they came with a compressor, will be on the look out at the scrappers next time.
beko1987
Well annoyingly my phone died after a few pictures, but we tooled up And got to work 3 hours a d we got the drivers side front and rear and the boot vacuumed. It's maybe 60% cleaner, ill get the steam cleaner out another day and loosen the pile up. The hidden cubby hole under the boot had never been opened and was full of soil, and I found one of the casings for the seat belt clips so taped it on. Next issue is the screen wash doesn't work, but I checked the fuses, and can just about hear the pump so am putting it down to being frozen, it was empty and it is 2 degrees here. Back in for tea now! I'll post a more detailed report later from the laptop barefoot, oldcars, Six-cylinder and 7 others
