beko1987
so do the battery connection properly then you slacker! OK... I then stopped it clonking Old ones were gm branded. Knowing Amy sister they might be original... Fair play if they are, cars on 118k! Nice smear of coppaslip on the hub face and bolts too. Next! Around the estate revealed no more clonking, although I am very lucky as I left my phone in the scuttle... It was fine! Hoping this gives me more time on the 406 next weekend! Zafira is now ready for its mot! In Feb... Rusty_Rocket, UltraWomble, Cavcraft and 6 others
paulscavalier
A good bit of work there. Does it have its rear wiper arm on it? Most of the ones round our way don’t have them I don’t know if they fall off or if somebody round here has got shed full of them.? I like the staples by the way... beko1987
Yep, its got its rear arm! Put a fresh blade on it a few months back actually. Well, when I say fresh, the 406's old one... paulscavalier

beko1987
Dropped it off at it's MOT at 8am and had a quite nice 20 minute stroll back home, half tempted to walk back to get it too. No one else was in when i got there bar the receptionist, so no idea when itll get done. Ruddy £54 though, must be the highest they can charge! Mine will go to Mr Clutch for £35 as usual when its due I think! MT08TWP f5f5f5f5 mrbenn, Cavcraft and Lacquer Peel

beko1987
It's not been done yet... It closes at 12.30, will give them a call in a bit and see what's happening. MikeR
do you need to do the spring mod on the rear calipers ( if fitted ) ? it does make the hand brake a bit heavier but it ensures the brakes back off Christine
beko1987
Not seen that before. Don't think so, they work OK at the moment, and Amy never leaves them in gear. The meriva could have done with it, the cables used to freeze in icy weather and stick on! I got quite adept at lobbing a kettle of boiling water over the cables without kneeling down in the end! DSCI0004.JPG it does make the hand brake a bit heavier but it ensures the brakes back off I have that mod on my T4 !!I watched the mot man briefly flash his torch at the caliper....turn away , and then it registered... so he turned back for a closer look I asked if it was a problem and he said " Not at all ! I know they're prone to sticking !" beko1987

beko1987
Winner!!!! Here's to another unhappy troublesome year.Mmm, I agree! All it's needed on 2018 is a set of tyres... It's planning something! Still got to fix the back door though, it's been unplugged for the last 6 months because my bodge failed (wires are too stiff now and pull themselves out, my plan is to just hardwire the door to the loom...) but maybe as that's broken, nothing else will?
