The car properly fucking stinks inside, I mean absolutely vile. The front windows don't work, the electric mirrors don't work, the central locking doesn't work and the heater doesn't work.
I don't know what that gauge is in the disks on the dash (boost gauge?) but it doesn't work.
The brakes are shit.
It pulls very nicely indeed and didn't boil up stuck in traffic coming home, but when I got back and moved it the RLOD came on and I think the radiator has a leak.
It's fucking horrible and it's redeeming features are three months MOT and a TD engine. If anyone wants it let me know as I'm either going to flog it 'as is' or bum it for the engine and a few bits and weigh it in.

It's far, far worse than it looks.

Mini/maxi gauge is oil level - will only come on when you start the car (like the BX's). A bit pointless.

I think every one of the electrical faults can be attributed to the mess of connectors in the doorframe. TADT,S.

Exhaust, fuel cap thing, door not opening, binding brakes, headlight aim and a drop link is all it failed the last test on - the post above is every MOT it's ever had

If you switch on the ignition, but don't start the engine, it shows the oil level in the sump.

It doesn't do anything else and gives no reading in any other condition.

The truthful answer is I don't know. I just saw it advertised, went down there, started it up, moved it forward and backward about eight foot, and bought it.

I notice the previous owner has barried it mildly with phase 2 tail lights. Shame about the Lucas pump though.

 

At least the tachometer works! It never did in the '97 P one I had a few years back.
