geotuson
hi ...i have been given from my father two Talbot Tagona's GLS in fairly good condition which have been locked up in a garage since year 2000 can some give me a aprox price per car as they may go to auction...thanks
pshome
Can be anything between scrap value and something in the low 4 digit area if they are really good. All depends on the state they are in. Tell us more and show us some pics.Having been garaged for 17 years certainly means there are various things to sort out. That is true for any car, but parts inavailabilty makes it more of an issue for Tagora's. Don't dream of a high value because they are rare... doesn't apply to a GLS, there is virtually no demand. These cars will not fetch much any interest (and money) at auction. You are proapbly much better off selling them to a shiter here.Do i smell a dual Tagora raffle? Other shiters are better placed to explain to you what a raffle is and how it works. Braddon81
It would seen that these cars are real as Geotuson has also posted on these on the Piston Heads Tagora thread but with added pictures. Still no mention of location or possible price mind you. Dick Longbridge, Sudsprint and D Spares & Tyres

pshome
On the road to the 2017 Tagora meeting. With the golden Tagora emigrated to Switzerland we decide to nevertheless take 3 cars and use the 505 as replacment, after all it runs on a Tagora cylinderhead. Bad start when checking the cars yesterday evening. Dinin Tagora has a leaky clutch supply tube.Replacing this takes hours with the lower end well hidden behind the brake servo. Because it rains, a quick fix shall do. Today: it rains, what a wonderful day. It didn't get any better as we move on, seems there is more leaking than just some break fluid. Because it rains, we decide to ignore this. It still rains, but mood is definetly getting much better as we make a small detour to see this: Talbot Sunbeam with less than 2000 km on the counter, WOW! Cute Simca behind.. and OMG a like new Rally 3 in the garage. After having had a good chat Mr. Jansen, a racing legend who owns all these beauties, we have to fill up break fluids and move on... in the rain. The parking lot fills quickly, and that is only the early arrivals, there will be more tomorrow. No need to look at old postcards if you can have this!
