I've had a couple of mk5s and I'm running about in a sad face mk4 as my daily. Keep an eye on the oil levels as the zetec likes to eat it's rings. Another ball ache I've had from them is the rocker cover gasket leaking oil straight down on the spark plugs. Messy smokey oily job changing plugs after that.
They wob half way up the a-pillar too. Bit of a water trap

If it's a keeper they Handle so much better with a fresh set of bottom arms and drop links too

The bastard has eaten my Pet Shop Boys CD and won't give it back. I mashed the eject button so hard I broke it so the jobs in bloody tatters man. FFS

 

Which one?  I have probably got one I can send you gratis, I never listen to CD's anymore and music magpie would probably only offer me 25p for the lot.

It's only right something will go wrong. Anything else would be Being Boring. Not bad for a Twenty-Something Car that's been Left To It's Own Devices.
