DodgyBastard
This would probably make an excellent engine donor for my Alto. Is it a 3 cylinder? Supernaut, alcyonecorporation and richardthestag

richardthestag
That's the spirit. Going out in a mo to find out why the alternator is squealing like a piggy. I hope it is just a shagged belt
mrbenn
That's the spirit. Going out in a mo to find out why the alternator is squealing like a piggy. I hope it is just a shagged belt Mine made a similar sound. Turned out to be the PAS pump, just needed a bit of WD40 where the shaft goes in to the pump every now and then. richardthestag
well that might be quicker than grovelling on the wet ground with the car suspended. what a stupid place to put the alternator anyway ;D

richardthestag
Updatz Matiz iz has sold! Epic On the Bay snipe'd with 5 seconds to go at £315 to a 11 posi bidder who had no feedback for over a year. Hmmmm methinks Really nice chap turned up as promised on Sunday with his mate, let him use wifi to sort rfl and one day insurance and he left happy. the epic bit is that he wants to use the car for local fast phood delivery but then the plan is to drive it the 2500 mile trip to southern Turkey where his family are from! 2500 miles in a 800cc Matiz! what a legend. he is fed up with local car rental when he flies out apparently. His mate is used to doing the journey in 48hours flat mainly on redbull and rollups cobblers, theshadow, The Moog and 2 others
