Suzuki Alto Head gasket failure by srblythe, on Flickr So I bought a Volvo 940 for £250 Not another fucking car... by srblythe, on Flickr I had set out to find a sub £300 shitter to tide me over until I had enough motivation to fix everything that needs doing but have ended up with a car which I actually like. The Sigma, I bought on Friday, I liked the idea of a big comfy cruiser for long journeys but I think the 940 fits the bill so I want to sell the Sigma to raise some funds for other jobs that need doing. I only want what it owes me. The car is in Cowdenbeath, Scotland. Trailer/transporter is recommended to take it away. The saloon was a 24v 4WS effort, Estates were Aussie built (Lonsdale Yo) and had an engine that was about as sophisticated as a Ford V6. Yet they ride and drive very nicely indeed. It's just poor timing really. It was a low spec thing with manual windows and crap air con. I was amazed how little power the 2.6 gave. Hated it. It was dreadful on fuel too Yours has a much nicer interior and hopefully the V6 is pokier than `mine` was! Good looking cars though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
