DodgyBastard
As Monday's go this certainly wasn't the worst, my beloved Alto blew its head this morning. Suzuki Alto Head gasket failure by srblythe, on Flickr So I bought a Volvo 940 for £250 Not another fucking car... by srblythe, on Flickr I had set out to find a sub £300 shitter to tide me over until I had enough motivation to fix everything that needs doing but have ended up with a car which I actually like. The Sigma, I bought on Friday, I liked the idea of a big comfy cruiser for long journeys but I think the 940 fits the bill so I want to sell the Sigma to raise some funds for other jobs that need doing. I only want what it owes me. The car is in Cowdenbeath, Scotland. Trailer/transporter is recommended to take it away. oldcars, drum, billyboy406v6 and 5 others

RoadworkUK
I took one of these in as a part-ex once a few years ago, it was far from the kind of tackle the (Merc) dealer usually handled, and I moved it on almost immediately to a trader who couldn't get enough of the things. No idea what he did with it. One of the best sounding estates I ever met.
r.welfare
These are great. Don't shoot me, but I preferred mine to the 3-litre Omega I had a few months later.
PiperCub
Seen Sigma saloons many times but never a wagon before, didn't know they did one.
The Reverend Bluejeans
Stigmas are a superb car. The saloon was a 24v 4WS effort, Estates were Aussie built (Lonsdale Yo) and had an engine that was about as sophisticated as a Ford V6. Yet they ride and drive very nicely indeed. DodgyBastard
It will be a cracking car when sorted and on the road, If my Alto had blown its head gasket the previous week I probably wouldn't have bought the Sigma. It's just poor timing really. I have 13 cars at the moment so my fleet reduction seems to be going reasonably well. DodgyBastard
Here's a selection of photos taken today, the underside of the car is quite dirty but there is a bit of rust at the end of the sills and some blisters on the wheel arches. D Spares & Tyres
Always liked these til I hired a 2.6 version of this in Australia. It was a low spec thing with manual windows and crap air con. I was amazed how little power the 2.6 gave. Hated it. It was dreadful on fuel too Yours has a much nicer interior and hopefully the V6 is pokier than `mine` was! Good looking cars though
