For Sale Laguna II 1.9 DCi Sports Tourer, 53 Reg, MOT'd April 2017, Full Service & 2 new tyres etc..

Hi,

 

           my brother is looking to sell his Laguna 1.9 DCi Sport Tourer.

 

 

It's done about 127,000 miles, most of that under his ownership is motorway mileage over the last year or so he's had it.

 

Recently had two new front tyres fitted, and back in September had a full service.

 

Cambelt, tensioner & pulleys, alternator & power steering belts, plus the pulleys & tensioner for that as well. Oil change, all filters including the pollen filter. And the rear engine /gearbox mount changed.

 

Also last year had the rear axle bushes replaced, and the tracking done so the car will actually go around corners!!

 

All the hand books, receipts etc.. come with the car & there are two used spare alloy wheels to go with it. And some spares, including new tailgate switches and some used parts.

 

 

Being a Laguna, there is some faults..

 

* The tailgate doesn't open, we did try a new switch but no joy. Tailgate glass does open, and you can open the tailgate from the inside. Guessing the wiring needs looking at, for a break somewhere.

 

* Central locking doesn't work on the drivers door, and the buttons on the keycard doesn't work so although it still starts the car. Ideally a new keycard would be needed.

 

* Heater controls don't work at all, the heater resistor was replaced but they packed up again anyway. Needs attention, or just buy some thick socks & wear your best Christmas jumper.

 

* Air Con pipe is broken between the condensor & the pump, happily a decent used pipe to fit comes with the car.

 

 

* Various marks, scratches etc.. Does come with a genuine Renualt touch up paint kit.

 

* Stitching has split on the front drivers seat, could be repaired/ replaced. Passenger seat has a fag burn, not by us as it was there when my brother bought the car.

 

The car can be viewed in Aldridge, West Midlands, alternatively my brother can bring the car up north slightly to our dads in Measham near J11, M42. Or at his work in near J14 M40, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire if any of these locations are better.

 

He's looking for £450, going off fleabay / autotrader prices for ones without faults.. so they claim are advertised for £650- £995 roughly with similar mileage.

Looks suitably grim - I think he will struggle to get what he's after for it even though it is a cheap car, though.

 

Tried removing and cleaning up BOTH tailgate switches? That sorted out the issues with mine!

I think having no heater at all is gonna wipe out any possibility of anyone (not just shiters) buying this anytime soon
