Popular Post Rod/b
So a mate sold a car for 250 quid on eBay, only to get that dreaded message: "Sorry m8 got no money cancel sael" etc. Quick bit of research to find an empty rental property later, mate replied with "Well i need to get shot of this car urgently, if you can pick it up you can have it free. Pick it up here...." Angrydicky, worldofceri, robinmasters and 60 others

mercrocker
Yep that's smooth.....For added play value it would be good to place a poundshop New Beetle or something on the driveway of target property Uncle Jimmy, overrun, Junkman and 6 others
Tamworthbay
Or tell him you have nipped out but the keys to the garage are under your other car, it's parked outside your neighbours, have a poke around and you will find them. If you can find a house in a rough area then double win. But be aware that the kind of idiots that mess people about don't always worry about things like laws and it is very funny but does have the potential to backfire. strangeangel
I've had my time wasted by mongs like him on more than one occasion, so this makes me smile. Hope the twat had a long and miserable journey for his non-existent free car. 1675463895/10 to your mate.
garbaldy
I know a chap who sold his car on eBay with no reserve and decided he wouldn't let it go that cheep, two weeks later it was found burnt out after being removed from his drive,Coincidence maybe. catsinthewelder and djimbob
dave21478
I am going to go against the flow here and say that was a shitty, stupid thing to do.Now this pissed-off guy has reason to seek retribution. Via the ebay sale he probably has access to the sellers address etc..... Matt, Uncle Jimmy and Lacquer Peel
Jim Bell
A buyer can request your registered (ebay and paypal) personal details from ebay and ebay will give it out if it is to aid the completion of a transaction. The other party can then start having fun/throwing bricks at their leisure. Ive found this procedure most helpful in the past.
garbaldy
You don't need to request details if your the winning bidder though so he will have the address, strange he never bothered to check before setting of for his freebie
steveo3002
yeah was about to say wont he have access to your address/details?
worldofceri
You don't automatically get the seller's details. The buyer's details are sent to the seller so they can post the item (even if it's something unpostable like a house). Didn't know you can request a seller's details but if this dude's stupid enough to fall for this he probably won't figure it out.

Uncle Jimmy
Funny but agree with Dave21478 not something I would try, far too many stressed out loonies about.I've had a couple of non payers (not on ebay) recently, one of whom I persued for a while. Not healthy, best to move on!
Slartibartfast
I don't particularly like your avatar, Sheefag, but I did what any sensible person does and added it to my adblock rules so I don't have to see it any more. I did the same with barefoot's, not because there was anything particularly wrong with the foot I just didn't much like looking at it.
