taxi paul Posted October 4, 2016 Share Posted October 4, 2016 Sadly my wifes cancer is now terminal so looking to get organised so need to move this on. 2.0 v6, 133, 00 miles , mot ran out a couple of weeks ago. Bad bits. Drivers door doesnt open on fob, electric seats need wiring in. Body work has a few little dints and lots of light scratches.good stuff .in recent years has had new radiator and thermostat , new inlet manifolds and vis motors, new clutch. Cam belt done around eight years 70, 000 miles ago. New breather pipes and pollen filter. No leaks on boot or body. Battery has gone flat so needs a jump start. I am looking for £100 happy to let someone take it and pay me if they are happy with it a week later. Car in merseyside. Its about making space on my drive to make it easier to get in and out of the cars I use. I can park it on next door but I know that I will never get round to doing anything with it, kids , other cars etc. If any one is stuck for a car and wants to take it and if it passes an mot and they are happy . Then they van make a donation to the forum instead. Or if fave wants to do a raffle and keep proceeds for forum cost then that's ok. I really , really don't want to just scrap it or gumtree ut and risk trainee mike brewers turning up asking about service history and stuff. Also it had an exhaust a couple of years ago and it has four matching good tyres, two keys and a stack of reciepts. It also , for the rover perves . Original dealer plates. Mate, I can only echo what has already been said. If you need anything just shout. I have no need of a car, no way of getting it, nowhere to put it and it has the wrong number of pedals. After two days in A and E keeping her alive they admitted her to hospital. After a week of tests they Said she has cervical cancer . So lots of appointment's with specialist's and then five weeks of radiotherapy. After the five weeks they do scans.This was three weeks ago. The specialist at clatterbridge hospital said that sadly the treatment hadn't worked and there was nothing they could do now. So now its all about palliative care and pain relief. I must admit you see the advert's for cancer and I never took much notice. But when you go to the Liverpool cancer centre at clatterbridge and see the affects it has on people's lives its staggering the amount of people being treated daily for cancer.like I have said I would rather the car go to someone who needs or wants it. I just need space for people coming to the house my wife's wheelchair and ease of access to my other cars. My wife will be 45 in November. So all them things that you may be putting off , you really should be getting on with them. Cos later might never come.
