nisfan
Ive decided i need to slim down the fleet as some cars arent getting the attention they deserve.Ok its a Mk2 cavalier in beige with brown trim. 1.6 with 5 gears 4 forward and 1 reverse. Its on 59k but has been for the past 500 miles or so as the odometer doesnt work but the speedo does.MOT till may.Has sri clocks and wheel.Drives very well, no knocks, bangs etc.Basic interior in very good condition. The fan was permanently running as someone had bridged the temp sensor fan switch as it doesnt work, i unplugged the fan as i dont tend to sit in much traffic but plug it back in when i know im going to.The body work has some rust blebs but no holes and could easily be sorted.Paintwork is overall ok but its been sprayed at the front and its not the best. The rubber plate between the carb and manifold is cracked so idle from cold isnt the best but once warm its fine.At this moment in time the fuel gauge isnt working but im looking into it. £650 scruff, Uncle Jimmy, Skizzer and 18 others

Brodders
Bumping this up as I can't understand why such grade A shite (it's even the right shade of beige so crying out loud) hasn't been picked up yet at that price.
Anglevan
Have another bump - my mate has just sold his mk2 and as a consequence we have a garage full of spares to get rid of. So whoever buys this if they want a load of spares let me know - located in Leeds. Good luck with the sale..

cort16
That is nice. Did you every figure out why the ride height is all Rover Streetwise?
nisfan
I too can't believe there's not a smidge of interest but it's not cheap by autoshite standards.I found the previous owner on Faceache. It's called Betty and had a shit ton of history but the PO fell out with the guy selling it so didn't get the history and a few other bits for it.As for the ride height he said it was all replaced a few years ago along with the brakes but that was it.I took the rear spring out and it went all the way down so the shocks fine would just need some shorter/ softer springs. warren t claim

Timewaster
The radiator fan switch is almost a service item on these. So much so it is about the only part number I can remember from my time at a Vauxhall garage in 1990. 90108636 I am rain man. lisbon_road
Fantastic car. They used to be everywhere (cliche I know) but they aren't any more........I remember the first time I drove one, and was amazed at how well it pulled away compared with my Sierra. sierraman
Put it on Fleabay if there's no takers. These (rightly) seem to go for some £ at the moment, especially solid examples like this. I know you'll have to put up with ridiculous questions like 'is this an SRI?' But you'll have some more money in the back burner.
