Cavcraft
Let's all meet up in theYear 2000 Clio 1.2 manualMOT DecemberTaxed to get you home118,000 miles hasn't done much all (under 2,000 I think) since the last one.Brand new battery, will pass receipt on when I remember where I put it.Bodywork incredibly clean, one small rust blob bottom of driver's door and the odd scratch, by generally its way above average on the body and paintSeems to run fine and has a snazzy modern CD player. The windscreen has a horrible 'wiper arc' that hasn't come out with some hslf-arsed T-cuttingTemp gauge works when it wants to, which is very little. Left it running for about an hour this morning and it started working and was ok until I knocked the engine off then it wouldn't register again. The fan kicked in though so I suspect it's the temp gauge sensor which looks quite easy to change, but I won't be doing this.Central locking doesn't work on o/s/r door, it's not the child lock, I've tried that. It can be locked/unlike chef using the knob though so not exactly the end of the world.Three tyres look quite new, one (I/S/f) wants changing as probably just about legal. The spate isn't flat but I haven't checked the tread on it.There were advisories on last MOT which I guess haven't been done so besrctgst in mind please, also no idea when cam belt last done, so budget for that and a service too I suppose. If Renault got one thing right in this era it was their metallic paint, this is another nice one.Feel free to have a bloody good look round it and bring a fault code reader or whatever, I think it's a little cracker.Autoshite special price of.... £265 (Chester) Aston Martin, Laseraligningfoofooflanges, theorganist and 3 others
SiC
Cheap! Looks like the 8v engine. Less powerful than the 16v, but torquier and more lively at lower revs + perfect for buzzing around town. Small cars is what the French manufacturers do very right. Laseraligningfoofooflanges and Cavcraft

RoadworkUK
Wow. It's even got a wireless that looks like it might play modern pop music like they play on Radio 1. GLWS. Cavcraft
