Drew
Living, as I fortunately do, in close proximity to a fine wealth of French shite, I reckoned I'd act as another correspondent, keeping you all up to date with the quality of tat out here.Sadly, the climate of extreme fear which one has sharing the roads with such hazardous tat really doesn't translate too well on photograph, but I suspect you'll get the spirit. I'll post pics as and when I can be arsed. First up, this Dandy little Citroen. Nothing particularly remarkable about the car itself. In fact, what has immense shite potential seems to have benefitted from regular care and attention, if one discounts the failure to beat the door back in to shape and allergy to washing. No..it's the fact that appears to have been parked straight which astonished me.Apologies for the modernity of vannage in the background. I did my best to erase. Now I have actually seen this van move, but only to allow access to the patch of wall which it covers, for the purposes of re-painting.Sharing a coffee with the old trout of an owner, in the bar one day, I gained intelligence that the regular refusal of the side door to close further than can be seen led the chap to decide not to bother taking the motor to the test centre for a failure. It serves as an otherwise adequate kennel now, complete with organic roof to appease the green lobby. The butchers no longer butcher, or indeed sell. More...later...maybe.
