Spottedlaurel
£1's worth of postcards that is. Chance visit to a collector's fair at the local town hall made me realise how difficult it is to find this kind stuff, though over-vibrant blue sky is a handy tell-tale sign. Haven't got time for in-depth captions, apologies if some aren't quite as clear as they could be: Switzerland. Wales. Malaysia. Callendar, Scotland. Hong Kong. Banff, Canada. 929/RX4 estate on the right! HK again. Odd front on that bus? Jasper, Alberta. Edinburgh. A chocolate factory, Spain. Mallorca. Exciting chase sequence between 124, 180/2-litre and a 504 saloon. Near enough back home again for me. A few of my own cars would have driven on that road. Apart from the Triumphs, a very '80s line-up, think it's an Escort estate right at the end behind the Scirocco.

seth
Info on all the three cars on the left of that Swiss pic would be interesting.I reckon the one o the far left is American. Dodge perhaps, maybe Chevy. Here's a '55 Opel Kapitan. Looks like I may have been right on that one. And it looks like the next one over is also a Kapitqan but the earlier late 40's early 50's model! Hope you like all the Farinas in the first HK card, think there's one disappearing off to the right too, and maybe an older Oxford or something further down the road?Totally ignored them! Too familiar!
trigger
I go to a local auction every Saturday at the cattle market in Colchester where a lot of these type of postcards crop up, Often have a bid on them but they all seem to sell for silly money, Sometimes over £60 for a box of them, Most be money to be made.Nice little collection though, Love the colours in the 60's ones.
