Surprise package!

Just had hermes at the door, when I opened up the parcel....... it's only the OE radio for the Rancho that the previous owner had found in her garage and posted on to me!

Meanwhile parts may be available on French or German eBay or somewhere, I haven't looked.

I will use this as an(other) excuse to trawl round French car boot sales whilst on holiday. There is always at least one bloke clearing out the contents of his garage!

Mrs_the_cat will be *overjoyed.

Err.... (looks at shoes), to be honest not a fat lot.

It's still safe and sound in my garage. Although at the moment it doesn't go.

The NOS replacement ignition module I sourced from ebay seems to have given up the ghost.

How about yours Mr Skizz?

Much the same except mine’s in bits. Though not as many bits as it needs to be in before it gets fixed. A-pillars are the most intimidating looking job on mine. At least it runs (so thinking about it, I could lend you a known-working ignition module for diagnostics if you want).

Yup, probly :-(

That's a kind offer. However I have a nagging doubt about whether it is the car that has eaten the latest ignition module, so I would be loathe to put your known good one on - In case it gets turned into a formerly known good one.
