trigger
I've posted this on R-R, It's probably a bit new/dear for some of you guys but you never know. Up for sale is my Mondeo ST24. It's been a great car in the last year since I've had it but I've found a Passat TDi tonight I'd like to buy as I drive from Ipswich to Colchester a lot. It's a 2.5i V6 on a T plate 1999 model with only 81,000 miles and plenty of stamps in the book, I paid £1850 from main dealer in Southend for it last April. Last owner owned the car from 2000-2008 and kept it garaged and it shows, It has no rust and is in great condition, Sadly it has been keyed down the o/s at some point in it's life but it's been touched in well so it isn't to obvious, one alloy has been painted and the paint has cracked up a bit and a couple jacking point sill overs have slightly cracked. It runs perfect, sounds fantastic and is very nippy, everything works perfect including the Air Con and 6 Disc CD Changer and heated front screen. Even the spare has never been on the road. If your looking for a good one then this is it as it's never been abused and is totally original. I've just Taxed it for 6 months so it's taxed until the end of September (and it's unaffected by new tax rates) and MOTed until June, It's had a pair of tyres, I've serviced it and fitted a new wishbone since I've had it. I'm looking for £1095 ono, It's a lot of car for the money and the buyer won't be disappointed Phone me (Mike) on 07824993306. pogweasel
Good work. I know these are highly rated amongst my Ford-adoring local comrades. Now just need someone to have a nosh at the RS2k I am flogging. (Personally can't see the appeal of 'fast fords', yes they go fast, but at the expense of terrible build quality. Spinning propellor FTW)
AnthonyG
Good work. (Personally can't see the appeal of 'fast fords', yes they go fast, but at the expense of terrible build quality. Spinning propellor FTW)Not true of Mondeos Pog, although perhaps of Escorts of old - although I understood most RS and similar stuff was assembled in Germany, to stop the Scousers screwing them up*. Pumas also built in Cologne, and the Racing ones were effectively hand built.*No offence like!
alfetta
I've had less trouble with fords, than supposed prestige makes...... E36 was the worst car I've ever owned....
