Father Ted
Heater matrix on its way out, little whisps of antifreeze smelling steam wafting up through the dashboard this evening. Then I tried to pull the stripes off the bonnet - Phail - the paint came off too.... Still, it drives OK
Split_Pin
Do you think you'll have to disassemble most of the lower dash to get to the matrix?I know thats what you have to do on the Vectra
Station
Dash removal isn't that hard a job really, it's just hours long. But on the Vectra it's probably a really big pain in the arse.

Father Ted
Arggggggh, now the washer jet has packed up, dribble on drivers side, nowt on passenger side. plenty of fluid, can hear motor whirring, remove pipe from nozzel and water gushes forth. Just attacked both with a 23g hypodermic needle with no effect.Off down the scrappys for some new jets and a motor then...Why did the French chef commit suicide?Because he'd lost his huile d'olive

If the pump is a push fit one into the tank then pull it out and let the water and crap drain out of the tank and flush it through.
