Thank Goodness :)  .. I wouldn't have known what to do if I'd suddenly won something.  It would have been a life changer.. confusion and turmoil would have convoluted every future decision I make in life.  I might have been unable to walk past a ruffle.. any ruffle.., or ticket - without the conflict of wondering  "Should I ?"

But now I can rest in peace again..  comfortable in knowing my place.

It does look a very nice Pug..  but now I can go back to my quest for a cheap shite 2cv  ;)

Well done Billy :D ..,  and I might add..,  commiserations to Mr Livered

Right, exchanged some pm's with Rob and I'm happy to get the train down, tax it online and drive it home. I'm not going to cock on the deal, no point in entering a 'raffle' if you're not going to see it through. Now, thinking out loud I'm guessing the car has to be worth a bare minimum of what, £350 at least, probably nearer to £400-£450?

So...if someone wanted to offer me (a minimum of) say Â£250 for it I'd be happy to take that and half will go to the hospice that looked after my sister-in-law. I'm not trying to be mercenary with the money, nor 'chugging' anyone and I'll repeat I'm more than happy to go and get the car, bring it back here and see if I can get a bit more then split the proceeds again. I'd rather do this 'in public' as don't want to be accused of being mercenary or anything.

Nothing mercenary about it. You won it fair and square, surely you can do what you want with it!

Absolutely, and if the hospice can benefit from a sale that would be a good thing.

I earnt £368 out of the roffle, and as stated at the start anything over £350 I'll donate to the forum. Will round it up to £30 though as I haven't donated for a while.
