egg
RobT has kindly brought back my new* Mondeo wheels from shitefest, and I'm going to drive up to meet him in lovely Sidcup on Sunday 24th July - aiming to handover around 11am. Agreed to meet at Sidcup Place (Brewers Fayre pub) that generally has a reasonable amount of parking, and not far off the A20. Any Kent/London/Essex shitters want to turn it into a bit of a mini-meet? Its probably not big enough to accommodate a fleet - but if half dozen turn up and buy a tonic water from the pub sure it will be fine
Vantman
This sounds a good idea for a Sunday drive out,i should be ok for it. egg
Slappy
Mind if I keep tabs too. I'm unlikely to make it, but on the off chance I can I'd be interested. Will be in Ashford over the weekend for familial stuff, and will probably want to escape at some point! egg
DSdriver
If I'm around, and haven't buggered off on holiday somewhere I'll try and make it. So pencil me in with an easily erasable pencil. egg
egg
sounds good. Here is a link to the pub details: https://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/pub-restaurant/Greater-London/Sidcup-Place-Sidcup.html Parking used to be free (I used to live round the corner from here a decade or more ago) - but it might be paid for now. DSdriver
Is that a pub where you have to pay to park, never heard of that before?
egg
Sorry - I think it is free, it's just Bexley council lists it as a pay and display on their website, oddly. Just didn't want to surprise people if you did have to pay, London innit?
Vantman
It states free parking on the webpage under 'Facilities' although it may be one of those pubs that reimburse your parking charge if you eat there. egg
RobT
If I get the chance this weekend I'll go and take a look, as it's only 20 minutes from me. egg and Vantman
RobT
Pub parking is free, but there's some pay and display opposite near the green so don't park there. Car park isn't huge but should be enough spaces available at 11am I'd have thought. Vantman and egg
egg
Great thanks, sounds a reasonable spot then for a meet. Roll up folks!
inconsistant
Would have liked to come along but I won't be able to I'm afraid, I'll be busy appreciating Uriah Heep in a park in Maidstone. Have fun chaps.
