Just seen a BBC news report on the latest Government 'troubles', and the hapless Harriet Harmon was jumped on by the media as she exited her car, which just happened to be a MK1 shape Rover 800 that didn't even have alloy wheels but crap plastic wheel trims  Now can anyone who chooses to drive such a thing ever be trusted

Sounds good to me. Next we’ll have Brown in a P5B.

NIce one! Thats a 'later' one with big fat bumpers so it won't be a carb effort.Wonder if there are any 2.0 carb ones left? I imagine they are a reasonable banger.

I think you could get an 827Si with hubcaps, so it might be one of them?

Good work MC! just look at the pained expression on her face, is it as a result of the scandal shes enbroiled in, or having just driven that horror of a motor :lol:

There's some rich mortgage-broker-type-fellow in the R800 forums who claims to own an example of each and every variant of 800 ever made - about 108 in total or summat. He reckons the carb 820 is OK  Those hubcaps look pretty big (16") to me, reckon it's a 'sleeper' 827i, unmarked-fuzz-spec.
