wilko
Toyota Crown Coupe! Nice- my landlady when I was a student had a red one.I believe Toyota only imported 500 MS-75 coupes, so a pretty rare beast in this country! There's probably been about 15 banger raced in the last 12 years or so that I remember, and no doubt there was some more raced in the 80's and early 90's, so I assume the majority went to the scrap man as there seem to be hardly any about any more... I seem to remember a rough one needing a full resto made about £650 on e-bay recently... The next model 4 door hard top was nice as well (MS-95), but I don't think they were officially imported? MrRegieRitmo
Cedric/Gloria 330 4dr hardtop. Above pic neatly contains two of my choices. That one on the right looks tasty, I'll agree!

MrRegieRitmo
Guilty as charged!! HUGE Buffy fan I'm afraid. Got series 1 and 2 on DVD, keeping an eye open for 2nd hand copies of the other series. I cudda sworn Giles' DS was an estate, but you may be right.I bought the box set 2 or 3 years ago for £235 which sounds crazy but it's a Ltd Edition of 10,000 & the average price on eBay for a brand new one was around the £300 mark so I didn't think I did badly. Although I felt very slightly green recently when Play.com were selling the boxset for £90 I think. I just had to keep telling myself 'it's only the standard boxset', 'it's only the standard boxset'! I also bought this year, the complete Angel boxset for £50. I had never been bothered about it as I'd never caught any episodes previously but then we got Sky & I got to see some of them from the beginning when they re-ran it. We couldn't keep up with watching them so I decided to just buy the set. I've been tempted to buy the full set, but I just know I'd NEVER have the time to watch them all again. Never really felt quite the same about Angel though. Now, Dark Angel, on the other hand, is- if possible- even better than Buffy!! With James Cameron directing, and Jessica Alba in the lead role, how could it not be brilliant?! Shame they only made 2 seasons. My g/f also into all these series' too. She's bought the boxset of Dark Angel, but we're yet to watch it together. Another we started watching is Tru Calling with Eliza Dushku of Buffy fame in the starring role, again that only lasted for a couple of seasons! MrRegieRitmo
So back to topic, I'm assuming nobody actually ended up with what they wished for? (admittedly unlikely!) I was reminded of someone I regrettably missed off my list when I saw her up coming role in the TV mag......Bionic Woman! I give you, the lovely Michelle Ryan who shares her first name with my other half, so it isn't all bad for her! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=454996&in_page_id=1773&ito=1490 http://www.orange.co.uk/entertainment/television/pics/1924_1.htm?linkfrom=hp4&link=box_hero_pos_1_1_link_2&article=070226hero1700tvbarlowsincrisis[/url]

Apparently though, she does the accent amazingly well, and she sure looks good!! Whoever her agent is, they deserve every penny of their fee! When HD/Blue Ray/whatever becomes the order of the day won't all the standard DVD stuff be thrown out in the same way? It's different for vinyl LPs as people still use turntables, or as I call them, 'record players'. Plus no ones making new 1950s Elvis singles. But the film/media companies can always just press more DVDs.It seems this set is holding it's value http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/184639/Buffy-The-Vampire-Slayer-Complete-Seasons-1-7-Box-Set/Product.html?ptsl=1&ob=Price&fb=0https://www.sendit.com/video/item/7000000095141This one is the standard release.....http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/705358/Buffy-The-Vampire-Slayer-Complete-Seasons-1-7-Box-Set/Product.html
