22nd Reims Salon (more pics)

+1!I'm sure there was Birotor in there Ratdat, next to a birotor block as well... might be losing it though! As an aside I visted a (different) french show and I think the excitement is because its cars you rarely saw when current on show, I'm sure a French BL or Rootes fan would drop to there knees at Newark.

Definately no Birotor in there...what colour was it? There was the Sbarro/Charbonneaux Renault 25 saloon though which was pretty cool. The thing that got me about the event was the sheer number of cars that turned up and many were from quite far afield. You also have to bear in mind that not one of the pictures I have posted is actually from the show, only the car park.

I just posted a bunch of pics in the RCCC forum so figured I might as well add them here too. Obviously this lot is just Renaults....

Wow. Loving the black 16, and the Frégate, and the 4 "Gordini". And the early 204 in the background of the pic of that Méhari-style thing (I would say a Rodéo but I've never seen a Rodéo with that front end before). Don't think I've ever seen a 204 with those back lights before. The Juvaquatre is nice too.

It was a Rodéo, I think there were at least three different versions although I'm not sure what the differences are. I'd never seen a 204 with those lights before either...

I was just going to mention that nice early 204 wuvvum. It had the early rear lights before they changed in '68. I reckon that is a Renault Rodeo, the front was different on the 6 version which I think that is.

I keep meaning to go to the reims and the loheac events, but life seems to move so fast and is so full of daily crap that I still haven't managed either............. The R16 does make me look at the ebay one a little more closely....Love the pictures!
