Autoshite Garage Buddy Scheme

An idea for those lacking mojo.

Post up your problem and your location and see if anyone is available

I'd give someone a few hours in return for a few hours

When you're stuck in the mire it's hard to get going

I gave someone a hand for a couple of hours at Christmas and with the strength and energy of two people and a different way of looking at things we achieved more in two hours than one person managed in two weeks.

So..... Anyone going to put a request in to start the ball rolling?

*i hate the title garage buddy, but you know what I mean

Looking at the grump thread

Lankytim in Staffordshire needs help

I read this and I live in stoke, he drives past mine on his way to work, i work funny hours so I wouldn't be around when he is and vice versa or I'd give a few hours of my time for a pair of hands when I need them

I live in the back of beyond in South Wales, have sod all tools these days and pretty useless with anything after about 1970 (not just cars but life in general), however, will soon have spare time and can offer tea, coffee, sympathy and endless wittering about how things used to be so much simpler in the old days.

I take it that's a no then?

Front Discs and Pads took not a very long.

Rear discs and Pads took a FUCKING age. Bloody Sliding pins that don't.

Located near Cheltenham and have a reasonably well equipped but extremely messy workshop (including a press, Delphi* diagnostics, Diagbox/PP2000/Lexia* diagnostics, good selection of tools when I can find them). Sadly no lift, stuck rolling around the filthy floor.

Shite Panda courtesy car TBC

Happy to collaborate with shiters where required.

WANTED - someone to weld up my rotten MK2 Mazda MX5 at a rate that makes it economical to repair
