new project started this week

this is my new project started this week needs a hell of alot of welding have a look in my photobuket album. there is a similar one further in that i did for a chap in gloucester. both had similar levels of rot but mine has half tidy wheel arches. will update album as work progresses.

ohhh im a great lover of Imps, Californians, Stilettos, Husky's or whatever they want to be called

its's a hillman husky one of 2 that i own i have approx 10 imps at the mo and i have another 3 to pick up. i also know of another cheapich imp for sale in cardiff and a commer imp van for sale in somerset if anyone fancies a project.

I see yours had gone in the same place as mine (and some more). I thought the rot was pretty small, but every time i thought the metal was good enough to weld to it just started dissolving so more and more had to come out until it resembled a patchwork quilt.

 

 

Speaking of which, i must get outside and do some more.....

if you have a look back in the photobucket album there are photos of keith evans's husky in gloucester that i welded up. i have another down the barn aswell that needs major work. :shock:anymore photos of your husky?

Mines not a Husky, its a Chammy. I have never really fancied a Husky. If I did I would ruin it by lowering it etc (sorry), as I have never been keen on the look of them as standard.There used to be that bright yellow Commer Cob knocking around in the 90's. I would probably ruin one a bit like that.
