The last time I saw a Maxim tape player was in an old XR2 at the scrapyard a few years back..

Should have liberated the bloody thing, thinking on it.

I also got mine. Its sat under the desk at work until such a time I get the Visa back.

Top work though. Everyone at work was well jealous of my ICE.

This is weird, the shonky French ones, I sold 2 yesterday on ebay. Two different sellers, both gone to 'GSP Distribution', which I believe is where items go when ebay ships them out of the country. The buyer will probably pay more in postage then they're worth.

Ah-hum...

YOKO built-in monochrome Tele-fucking-vision!!!   :-o  :-o

It has a front mounted VCR connector.  8)

I'm no Doctor of electrical engineering, however it has a TV antenna connector on the unit, so maybe some kind of small freeview box for shonky black and white Dave watching?

Fuck knows what they're worth, probably nothing. However, its maybe the stupidest thing i've ever seen... so, I have 6 of them.

....................

Next up, an actual quality product? Shocked? I'm offended that you think I only have utter shite.

Alpine 7288l

These are actually nice, they weigh more than my house. Which is a sign of quality, probably.

Old-Skool fully removable unit.

I'd be very interested in the Alpine if I can persuade you not to put on eBay. Willing to pay the going rate £50-ish?

I've been looking for something period for the Prelude.

Back in the late 80's I had a 5" B&W TV set wedged in the glovebox space of a poverty spec Fiesta - oh how the ladies loved a night out with me.

Pizza, a glass or two of Tizer and Brookside on the telly in the car.

Knickers couldnt fall fast enough.
