Recommended Posts

Ok,so the Celica I won from Sporty- Shite has been a god send whilst Mrs Sills car was of the road but now its time to move it on and put the money into other projects/crap.

Toyota Celica 2.0 GT

160k on the clock

Around 6 months MOT

Has a clicky CV joint [comes with spares]

Sporty Shite put another radiator in before it came to me.

Full leather interior

The kids love it and so can you for just 10 of your earth pounds!

Win at life, be the envy of your friends, have the other half look at you proudly for your good luck and saving the family money on transport.

Is there an etiquette that says this is blatant profertering?

If not then it may well go up for a re-roffle if there is any interest.

It's your car, is it not? Sell as you see fit :)

It won't be profiteering if you roffle it for the same sort of money it made in the original roffle*. Yes, you'll make a profit over what you paid for your ticket - but you could just as easily have not won & lost your stake. Just don't worry about it.

* Unless you've done expensive work on it, in which case it'd be fair enough if you upped the ante a bit.

Ive washed it twice in 3 months which is twice more than I washed the daily last year, if that adds profit!!!

As above - Roffle = winning. You spend £10 on a ticket and win a £600 car, you won = £600. No-one is going to complain.

But re-roffling is more fun, and as you'll see with the Honda I did, get the right car at the right price and it'll be gone in days :D

Due to popular demand the Celica is going to Raffle [again]. I really would like it to go to someone I don't know on here rather than someone I don't know from the proletariat!

I would like about £600 out of the car so tickets are £10 each, usual rules, draw takes place when and if all tickets are sold, Paypal payments when all slots filled [oh matron] no mention of raffle when payments made as per.

The car is remaining for sale and if it sells I will post it on here.
