Cavcraft
The estates are nice looking things and I'd like to like a 2.5 diesel but the rep for shitting their fuel pumps and the fact my old 80TDi estate was fucking shit puts me off them. SiC
Wahoo! Guess she ran like a dream the whole way back? Not like the last time I bought a (different) Scenic which did this on the way back from Cheltenham, straight after buying it...  The trader guy I bought it off told me to eff off when I phoned him up. Long story cut short, no codes were triggering the fault and it ended up being the fuel pump. When it was cutting out, it did it suddenly with no warning. Sold it for a loss after repairing it, as my other half had zero confidence travelling in it.
Kiltox
Ran perfectly. Even managed to wheeze it up to an indicated 78 on the motorway  Off to ECP in a second to see if they stock the wheel bearing on its own - the grumbling is a lot worse at motorway speeds! Kiltox
Anyone know if I should lightly grease the axle or not before refitting the disc/bearing? The only grease that was on it before was as far as I could tell the stuff that leaked from the knackered bearing
