Captain Slow
I don't know to be honest as I haven't done a brim-to-brim on it. BorniteIdentity
I don't know to be honest as I haven't done a brim-to-brim on it. I seem to be averaging 27-30 from my 2.5 but I'm leaden-footed, I don't see why a 2.0 shouldn't be more economical. There is little to no difference in the real world economy of both V6s. The greatest gain is made by swapping automatic for manual. Fuck I'm boring. stripped fred and TRW
Captain Slow
BorniteIdentity - I agree there, but the manuals have chocolate clutch hydraulics. Autos are far longer-lived, and tbh suit the car more. 1. Sofarsogood2.3.4. DeeJay5.6.7. Pandamonium8. sporty-shite9. Timewaster10. Mr_Bo11ox11.12.13. sporty-shite14. gadgetgricey15. Sigmund Fraud16. Insideimsmiling
I have previous owned 2 of these in 1.8 form, an automatic which was a little slow and a manual which was almost as slow, so this should be..... not quite as slow. These are just so well resolved in design terms both inside and out that I can't resist another so 2 random numbers please.
NorfolkNWeigh
I've managed to avoid not only owning but ever driving or even sitting in a Rover 75. This is no mean feat ,as one way or another I've driven most mainstream cars from the last 30 years or so, definitely every Rover since the P5 and yes that includes a CityRover !This means I probably won't win, but please can I have 2 and 32 . vulgalour
I'm sure it's lovely being ex-Captain Slow. Obviously, since I've got 3 cars (only one working) at the moment what I need in my life is the opportunity to acquire a fourth. The seats do look like a particularly nice place to be too. eddyramrod
Inspector Morose
I used to think these were the next best thing. Thing is, as time goes on, the more I think "what were they thinking?" A well engineered package wrapped up in a pastiche of faux old rover. What a waste of an opportunity. It makes me sad. Still, if that's your thing, it looks very nice for the risk and it will be comfortable and so on, just as other cars of the period usually were. Honestly GLWTR! But I'm oot. MarvinsMom
with my current one been an early longbridge estate the chance to compare it against a cowley car. my gaffer had one this age and this colour when the 75 was brand spankin' new. his was a manual though, not an auto. and i do like an auto.....
