Six-cylinder
Engine - BMW 328i E46 1999 Twin Vanos. I drove the car on the road and the engine performed perfectly, no strange noises, no warning lights on the dash and I sat in traffic and the temp gauge stayed at normal. The 1999 E46 328i Manual saloon it came out of had only done 99,000 miles. I bought the complete car for the engine and found I have bought the wrong one, as I was looking for a replacement engine for my E36 328i and did not know it was single vanos at the time. The engine is out of the car and stored at the garage that has my E36 near Bicester, Oxfordshire. I want just £300 for the engine.

Six-cylinder
Bet you felt a right twat Yes thanks for that, it was not my finest moment but to make it worse the mech pulled the engine out of the E46 knowing it had to go into a E36 but did not tell me there was going to be a problem until after it was out! Thing is the car still had an MOT and was repairable (rear suspension pulling out of body)

barefoot
the mech pulled the engine out of the E46 knowing it had to go into a E36 but did not tell me there was going to be a problem until after it was out! Well, I wouldn't be spending any more money with that garage in a hurry then.
