davidfowler2000
For those REALLY brave I've got an '88 Volvo B10M 57-seater to shift as well but it may be a bit big for on here. Ehem *looks about nonchalantly whistling* I am extremely interested in the N-plater which has remaining test and dot-matrix panel. Like, seriously, adding up things I can reshuffle interested. Dot Matrix in these is original Brighttech and are an UTTER CUNTFLAPS to program. IIRC the programming software runs in DOS and it uses ridiculously specialised programming hardware. Looks like one of the 709s has a dot matrix destination display. The possibilities are endless. I did this to mine... autoshite Express by David Fowler, on Flickr Since it's the same kind of screen that First Group and Stagecoach use and I still maintain the destination program for Stagecoach in Glasgow and the megabus fleets operating from Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee...there is actually one or two Stagecoach / Citylink / megabus motors that accidentally got a program with autoshite.com in them. Genuinely forgot to keep the programs separate when I done them. Genuine accident. Genuine no regrets about it. oldcars, andrew e, Inspector Morose and 14 others
Cavcraft
Didn't the Vario (and possibly others) have the same lump? They seemed pretty bullet proof to be honest and most parts (when I had mine) were dead easy to get from Merc.

cms206
Didn't the Vario (and possibly others) have the same lump? They seemed pretty bullet proof to be honest and most parts (when I had mine) were dead easy to get from Merc.Varios were a 4250cc 4-pot in either 104 or 136bhp variants (x10/x14 originally anyway, later x13/x16) though lighter weight ones could be had with the 120bhp 5-pot from the Sprinter. Electrics are less hardy, gearboxes are crap (we've had three 'boxes in ours, one lost second gear and syncro went in third on the other) and they have a habit of jettisoning brake pads but otherwise they're okay. I wasn't in yesterday so no more pics sadly; will update on Monday morning when I'm back in. Cavcraft
Arthur Foxhake
I had an ex minibus 609d converted to a camper.Epic fun times were had with it. I've showed these pics to Mrs Foxhake and told her the price and she went all giddy about getting another one. Almost as excited as I am to get another one.Sadly, money, children, storage and licensing issues mean it is not viable. Would. Can't. GLWTS. Dick Longbridge
Stone the flaming crows, something of this quality is a mere 1200 notes? That's the cost of a meal, drinks and a night on the razz for two out in Laandon shirley? I'm tempted to buy it, park it on the drive, build a fence around it, move into it, then rent our house out. eddyramrod
sierraman
I'm tempted to buy it and use it as a shuttle bus service between Romania and Rotherham. It would go down a bomb.
Cavcraft
If anyone wants to do some ridiculous, hair brained, won't ever work out shares thing in that Volvo let me know. I'd put at least £20 into the pot, as long as I could drive it up the Horseshoe Pass to piss everyone off behind me.
