Junkman
Another vote for Velourite type material here too. Where do farts go when pressed into cow hide seats? Yep, that's another thing to consider when you live with three vegetarians.Ever experienced a proper Greek dolmades and tzatziki thrush taking off in a car with leather seats? Junkman
Today, the car was dropped at the painter's with the clear* instruction to make it perfect.Should be back by Friday afternoon. Hopefully.

Junkman
Hopefully a colour so close to the existing one that it won't be noticed that it has paintwork done. Beige. forddeliveryboy

r.welfare
It really does look superb. What's the headlining like, and is it missing any interior door lock buttons?
Junkman
Headlining is gone, but all door lock buttons are present and work. Also missing is the moulding above the tailgate, I guess it was removed to provide more clearance for the crane. Uncle Jimmy
Today's award for correct Peugeot 405 usage goes to an anonymous French person. I especially like the mismatched bumpers. brickwall and Lacquer Peel

barrett
This is such a beautiful colour, great work getting the bonnet tidied up. Can we just have some more photos for no reason just showing off that mega hue? Junkman and BorniteIdentity
carlo
Very lovely indeed. Can't decide actually what I think about that colour, sometimes I love it sometimes not so sure. Haze blue still my favourite unfortunately never had one. How's the search for velour seats going? And any other small bits 'n' pieces you're after?
Junkman
Search for velours seats hitherto not successful, but I haven't really looked that hard yet.Ideally, I'd like those partially green STI seats. The only things really missing are the plastic moulding above the tailgate and the headlight washer jets.

Junkman
Four months on and I can't remember ever opening the bonnet during this period. So I thought I must do something and bought new numberplates. Still would like to swap the seats for some proper ones.I think I'm repeating myself. But owning these is pretty boring. oldcars
Dealer plates are a nice touch. Was the sticker on the car or is that new too?
Junkman
No, the sticker came with the car. The plates are fairly exact replicas of the original ones. oldcars

Junkman
I would always prefer a saloon, but having only saloons just doesn't make sense. One of your cars must be an estate.
