Me And philibusmo bought this between us last year. It was advertised as time warp condition. Turns out it was/is in lovely condition. There was no history, just said, "been in storage since 2005." The speedo read 280000 somethin' miles. We thought given the cond, this can't be right. Phil managed to trace the owner, a Doctor Digit. He confirmed the mileage was correct. He must have spent serious money on it keeping it in this condition. Everything apart from the climate control works. Even the cruise control. The climate control was just about working when we got it, but I noticed this summer it only pumped out warm air.

After we bought it, it got new tyres. Dunlop sports, and a new battery. Summer 2014 I decided to power wash the arches. It turned out a substantial amount of the rear inner arches were held together with underseal. We hit the welding hard on a very hot weekend. It must have pissed the neighbours off no end. Anyway all done. Please see Phil's thread on rebuilding the Lancia Y10 loan car to see the standard of welding. It's just gone through an MOT. Expires 11/10/2016. It initially failed on rear fog lamp bulb and two bushes on the rear suspension. Now done.

It drives really nice, goes well, with a lovely straight six howl. Not bad on fuel on the motorway, pretty shit around town. It is totally reliable, and can be used as a daily driver. It does turn heads. The photos do it justice, it's not concourse, but it is pretty smart.

For sale on here first, just to see if anybody is interested. Heres the photos. Oh and it comes with a period accessory.

As the previous half owner of this, I can confirm that it is a properly nice motor. At one point I was seriously considering getting shot of the rest of my fleet and just running this.

The only problem I ever had with it was the alternator playing up on that weekend that Autoshite went gokarting in Warrington. A new alternator soon fixed it and its a brilliant car all round. I'll be somewhat sad that this won't be around when I get back as the pop up headlamps and car phone make you feel such an absolute winner.

A nice motah but I hate the dull, cheap looking Japanese interiors - playing a Leonard Cohen CD would enhance the misery greatly.

I always went for a bit of Polysics and J-Pop. I went and clicked this going "please don't be an aerotop (yes, there are A70 Aerotops)" and was slightly sad it wasn't. And then wanted it anyway. Dream is a 1JZ Aerotop with digital dash, narrowbody.

This has some quality accessories. Is that a amp in the boot? Don't people pay good money for 80/90's quality ice.

I think it's to power the phone. There is a big red power lead that heads off to the battery, but is not connected to the battery, and I have never dared connect it.

I was driving this around yesterday. It's ace. Drives so well, although does now need more pez.

Foeux was asking on my behalf as I was waiting for my registration to be approved.

I've been lusting after one of these for a little while and recently got rid of an AW11 MR2 so my garage is a little empty.
