Fabergé Greggs
Here it is. My faithful daily. Since deciding to get my proper licence I've been bombing around on my RXS and as much as I'd like to keep this cheeky chappy I can't really justify it. It's got high miles (30,000) but the engine is a super low mileage one which I fitted recently and runs like a watch. It's always been serviced by David Wilkins who's a bit of a guru, and at the start of October it had a full service and it's MOT. It has a new battery, new regulator, new top quality DID chain and sprockets.. It hasn't wanted for anything mechanically but it is a touch umm, "patinated". Importantly the frame is completely solid though. Faults? MOT advisory for needing a rear tyre soon, and the choke cable isn't connected as I found the butterfly didn't fully open with it attached. You can easily operate the choke by hand and use the choke knob for hanging your curry from. Shiters price? £600. Fabergé Greggs
Oh I nearly forgot, comes with a full tank of fuel which is worth at least £4. cobblers and garethj
purplebargeken
C90's are like the cockroaches of the motorbike world (I mean that in a positive way). Post-WW3 will see them still running like little swiss watches. All they really need is regular oil changes with a decent brand Yours looks ace and seems to have none of the rot lurking in the rear spine of the frame which is one thing that will take them off the road. I wish I had the cash as these will only escalate price-wise over the next few years. Fabergé Greggs
Christine
I expect Fiat Punto behind the c90 had a new top mount and a c.v gaitor this year.. i should think it's low mileage too .. Fabergé Greggs and mercrocker
Richard
Much as I'd like to buy it I don't have anywhere to put the Honda I've already got. Fabergé Greggs
nacho man
When I was 13/14 my best ever comedy line came courtesy of a c90. We had one for blasting around the fields and after rolling in to have my tea, it set on fire, not dramatically like a episode of Londons burning, but a fuel line came of the carb and it there was flames. My mum came rushing out, while me and my cousin were just laughing trying to put it out. I said "least we have a FIREblade now" That's why I never made it as a comedian. p.s It still ran after we fitted some new fuel lines. Crashed it twice. But was for sure the best bike in the world ever.

michael1703
There's a weird gorgeous sexiness about a curvy c90 headlight nacelle, it's a design icon like a cast iron phone box, an E type or bridgitte bardot's arse Shame they are such arseholes to change the cables or head race bearings on Fabergé Greggs
strangeangel
If I was into dungeons and dragons and had an unhealthy interest in trains I'd be all over that. I've ridden these bikes and their derivatives in the company of many others doing the same, and I've yet to meet even one rider with either of those interests! strangeangel
I'll have a tenner that Barry Bulsara has owned one of these. Well statistically I suppose there's a chance Barry Who? owned one. They did make 60 million of them, after all.
Jerzy Woking
I must resist, I must resist.......... Had loads of these when I was a teenager for thrashing around the fields, but have never had on on the road (my brother does though). Really need to have one in my life but have the Monet and the CZ to sort out first. I did have a C50 on the road when I was 17 to go to and from the station. 1965 model, pushrod not OHC, revved like a bastard. But alas, BAN 416C is no more. For some reason I can't remember, my brother destroyed it with sledgehammers, along with his Hillman Imp. groovylee
Jim Bell
I'll have a tenner that Barry Bulsara has owned one of these. LOL. He wanted to paint Jill Dandos front door. But she was dead against it. (too soon?) Christine, michael1703 and warren t claim
