pompei
I had a new screen put in the Saab last month. The guys who fitted it secured it to the roof panel with duct tape to keep it secure whilst it went off. Now there is a residue on the screen and the roof. Any recommendations on how to get it off? spike60
I bought an Alfa Spider a couple of years back that someone had de-badged leaving Pinifarina etc written in glue. Paint thinners followed by T-cut and a polish and job was jobbed. pompei

burraston2006
Try furniture polish. I know it sounds odd but if you use the silicon free polish ( smart price stuff etc ) this will get residue off. The cleaners in Asda do it that way. pompei

richardmorris
I wouldn't use nail varnish remover- it's acetone and likely to soften and remove the paint. Sticky stuff remover is great. Autoglym tar remover is excellent but not cheap. pompei

inconsistant
Might be a bit late, but get the windscreen people back to sort it, their work should be guaranteed, you shouldn't have to do anything.
