320touring
After the success of the initial GLF meet in York I put it to you chaps that we do the following: Crail Raceway 9.30am Sunday 25th October. Turn up, £10 to get in£15 per car Track opens at 10am, and runs til 4pm. there are NO big grown up races- so you can run all day- I usually manage 15-20 passes. location details here: http://www.crailraceway.co.uk/map.php I'm also considering whether we run a sub 300 quid competition- buy it, turn up and see who is fastest? Richard
It's my birthday the weekend before and it looks as if I'll be spending it looking at sodding kitchens, so this should redress the balance a bit. I'll not be racing though. 1. 320touring2. davidfowler2000 if I'm not working3. Richard davidfowler2000 and chaseracer

Richard
The Volvo has started making a funny noise under hard acceleration. If I manage to find out what it is and it passes its MOT I might race. 320touring and skattrd

Richard
I believe you only need a helmet if your car is a ragtop or if it's going to crack 120mph on the 1/4 mile.

The Moog
Right I am tempted by this. Is it feasible to drive up, do some runs then drive home? Would the car need anything special doing to it?

Would the car need anything special doing to it?I'd give the car a once over-make sure brakes/steering and tyres are in good condition. I've done 3 lots of it (58 runs so far) with no issues in my rank taxi. I'll cart some tools etc up too:) The Moog
