Guest
In shite foghat gris with it's original dealer box. Detail varies wildly, slight scuff on roof. Fully decorated interior complete with meta fake faux wood. OMG RARE, NOT AE86 TOFU DRIFT. Front doors open. £25 and that includes P&P. PM meh for paypal edicts. Or you can pick up from my Manchester pomme de terre for £20 all in. Mr Milford Cubicle was to have this, but bought a marvellously shitey Justy instead. One turned up at the first ever NSJC meet and got covered in mud:

MrRegieRitmo
I've got the XM one of these somewhere! On eBay they go for silly money for some reason, although I think I paid sub £20 for it, mint boxed from a Swapmeet!

I didn't know what I was buying, it was just a large scale XM for my collection, my only other at the time I think, being a small scale Majorette model. Obviously the trader didn't know what he was selling either! I think I did notice one on eBay at a stupid price once but I might have assumed it was a fluke & I'd forgotten just how stupid! Whilst searching on eBay for a 1/18 605 for comparison, I could only find the 1/43 versions. Saw a couple of 1/1 versions though.... So I should bung it on eGay then?Well no promises, but I can't see why you wouldn't get at least what you're asking - I can't see why it would only be worth a fraction of the XM??I'd be interested but I haven't bought a model for a few months, I'm starting to get model cravings & withdrawal symptoms now but there are lots I'd need to get first. I have restricted myself to 1/43 for space & economy reasons & I've tried to stick to that apart from 'must have models', for instance if there's no 1/43 version of a car available. If you need a quick buck....eBay

I'm not entirely sure, I tried a few things but I think it was removing your tags that did it. Shortened the eBay addresses too.
Guest
Weird thing is, the bloke who I bought the 605 off (who was a dealer) says that he gets XMs in infrequently and that if anything, they were the same price as the 605s.I'll make sure I get one if that's what they go for. reallyloud
These 1/18th scale solidos are really quite nice in a totally shite way, a bit basic compared to some of the offerings you get today but the subject matter is spot on. Solido did offer a 1/18 Safrane in this range too. Shame they didn't continue - would have loved to have seen a ZX, R21 or something equally as dull. £20 for that model is a reasonable price I think, unlike that XM - I picked one up new in 1989 for about £30 (or whatever the equivalent in francs was) and can't figure out why its so valuable - the box might have something to do with it. Not Solido, I think it's a Dong Feng Chinese model but a standard hatchback rather than a saloon. I've also got quite a smart 1/43 hatcback in yellow with a rear spolier, also a Chinese based model.
