Guest
Really boss well pleased to be here. Qual site and QUAL SHITE. Here is my impeccable bilge. I'm on a lot of old tat forums - RR, NSJC, OJC, BB, DOCF, BSC, SSC etc..... First is my 1966 Amazon that's actually quite healthy now I've yogged lots of money into a body resto. Scores extra AS points in my view for being the pov 121 model - so a 4 speed with a single carb and no OD. Next, some rare J tin cack that's definitely worth more in bits. You know the bits I'm talking about, well you will over elevenses anyway in the square. There's also a video on youPooed of the previous chong smoking owner trying to drift it round a blind roundabout in Sudbury. 1987 pre Lotus Isuzu Piazza Turbo. Scabbier one side that the other, lots of problems, still nippy, bought blind off eBay. Currently SORNed and living on a farm in Daresbury with a 1302 Beetle and a Velocette. Finally, the golden chainsaw of shite, my 1978 Mitsubishi Celeste 1600 GSR. An infamous Guinness slurper hassled me to sell this, but despite claims otherwise, he pissed me about and for the moment I'm hanging on to it. Got as far as getting some 13" Watanabes for it and the number of a company that can make me a new windscreen for 150 sovs. SORNed and holed up in a shitey lockup full of Saab and Amazon spares. There's also a bollocks daily in the form of a Citroen C4, which is really pissing me off at the moment because of the depressing rate in which it warps its rear discs. 249mm solids from PSA are not cheap. Mr Lobster
Welcome along!Nice cars, especially liking the Piazza. Remember being somewhat struck by them when new! Something very appealing about them.
Dukestar25
What taste! That Volvo is almost as cool as that uber-rare Celeste GSR nice to see a Piazza too. There can't be many left now...Welcome!!!!!!

Guest
Lovely stuff, unusual too The last two aren't quite as nice as they look.Piazza has 3 shagged arches (not too deep by the looks of things) a loose bumper, a bent OS driver's door which keeps murdering window regulators and a NS door that's fizzing up nicely. LSD works though, which I why I get a never ending stream of Chevette \ Manta mongs leaving messages like 'hi m8 will u sell me the back axl n breaks?'Its a bit borderline as it has lots of other shitty niggly problems. IPTOC might be doing me a trade on a taxed and tested HBL so I might end up with that instead. The club is short of pre Lotus bits and I don't mind the car being carved up in this sense because I know its parts would be used to keep another Piazza going.Celeste also has the WORST NS arch repair I've ever seen ever. Previous owner protected the metal alright but couldn't be arsed to sand down the filler to even resemble an arch shape.Plus the windscreen is fucked and I'm missing a couple of bits of trim and door seal.Radio works though! BBC LW Bhangra, never a dull moment, especially with the vaguest steering in the world.

Heep
Welcome! Love all the cars but that Piazza made me giddy. They never sold them here in Canada but did in the U.S. and I remember as a young lad seeing one down there that I was rather impressed with. Would still love to have one! Futuramic
Hello,I've got a few questions about the Celeste. Good ones maybe, but we'll see.Is it tested, if not how much would need to be done to get a new ticket? What about parts availability? Is it for sale? How much is it?I'm currently looking for a new shite car for a bit of fun, and possess a dry, empty garage.
