Conrad D. Conelrad
I sort of drifted away from this place for a while. Anyway, I'm back and I've brought shite. It's a 'reliable runaround' I purchased on ebay, which did all of 200 miles before catastrophically breaking down and now looks like this: That's all, just wanted to show off my wicked positive camber. M'coli
Looks like the front end of a Herald to me, non-overdrive gearbox too.
Conrad D. Conelrad
It's a Herald 13/60, forgot that detail! The only pic of it in one piece I can find online is this one: BTW anyone who bought a magazine sub from me back in the good old days was offered a refund, that's not why I left (although I am still doing another one). Conrad D. Conelrad
Welcome back! What broke? I have various bits lying around...Thanks. Big end bearing shells. They were all worn down to the copper, one set decided enough was enough and melted. At 65mph on the M6. I've never used a paint gun before, but I'm respraying it too. Thought I couldn't make the existing paint worse. I did go for a viewing before buying it, but got carried away and bought it before looking at the back or passenger side. Look out Mike Brewer.
