Right folks, desperate times, etc.

Mean my R30 is unlikely to get finished, so if any of you lot are interested, then gimme a shout and make an offer.

67k miles with all documentation, handbook, HBoL etc.

It'll need trailering away, and hasn't had an MOT since just before year dot. I know it needs one fairly easy plate at the rear of one wheelarch, the fuel is varnish so I'd advise giving everything a good ol' flush, interior is fine but it isn't happy being outdoors at the moment as the sunroof isn't shut properly. I'm going to try and give it a good going over this weekend, but at the moment I've just got too many things to do.

I'll take more pics over the weekend as well, but here are some to keep you going.

Ace!! Congratulations on your ever expanding Renault fleet Ratdat 8)

Well, it's having a momentary contaction as I'm going to punt both of my R15's and concentrate my efforts on this R30, my R5, R11 and R16. My dad is going to be made up when he sees a 30TX again. he loved his one back on the early 80's and I suspect he's not seen one since.

It would have been rude not to have taken the R30 - should look great next to the Vel Satis. Not sure how Renault UK feels about the Vel Satis these days, but I'd imagine someone in the press department would be interested in a R30 Vs Vel Satis comparison. You can bet my rusty ass that Nissan wouldn't even consider checking out one of the few late 60's Cedrics knocking around as a comparison with the forthcoming Infinity models.

It effectively being the Vel Satis' ancestor did occur to me and is made all the better for them both being silver. It'll be interesting to compare for sure. I'll wager the 30 has a softer ride! You're sadly right about Nissan. They did get all misty eyed about the 240Z briefly when they thought they could make a fast buck out of the heritage link when the 350Z came on the market. They must be one of the few marques that actually seem to be ashamed of their past in this country. They should be proud of their past and ashamed of their present IMO.

or 1 x R18 & 1 x R12Aren't Renaults fun, I think young children should be taught to apply maths to Renaults rather than just numbers, I'm sure it would have been far more interesting & made me much more willing to learn / hold my attention!(plus made the different model designations enter my conciousness far sooner but that's another issue!)

Well done Ed, I shall look forward to inspecting it as I've not seen one close up for years and that was probably the 20 one of my teachers had!Nice looking car. I need to get myself a Renner one day, very impressed with the ones I've seen/driven lately. It'll have to wait a while though....
